Introducing Alfred, a magnificent Tug Trad masterfully crafted by R W Davis. At the heart you can find a wonderful Kelvin K2 engine which was taken from a lighthouse and one of the last ones built. The engine is housed in its very own engine room complete with two side hatches. Hot water onboard is provided by the Calorifier and backboiler which also aids in the central heating teamed with the solid fuel stove in the saloon and the Epping stove within the boatman’s cabin. Alfred has a whole host of impressive electric systems to include 12v, 240v, a Victron 3600w Inverter, Paguro 5kw diesel generator making liveaboard journeys effortless. But that’s not all, Alfred also boasts a Studer Remote Control Centre, Studer Extender Multimode Power Centre, Studer Battery Monitor, Studer Eurox Converter, a powerful 24v alternator located parallel to engine under gunnel, 8 groove belt driven on 33inch engine fly wheel; which charges batteries when engine is running. To top it off we have 2 large Rolls AGM leisure batteries teamed with two smaller AGM starter batteries.
Within the galley there is a Cooker, Fridge and full-size Bosch washing machine. Accommodation on board is offered over 4 berths with a fixed double bed under the tug deck complete with bedside lighting and a convertible double within the boatman’s cabin. The onboard bathroom provides a large shower, pump out toilet and vanity basin.
Alfred has been meticulously maintained with a BSC valid until October 2026 and having been blacked in February 2024.
If you’re looking for a boat with character, then Alfred is the one for you!

BUYERS & SELLERS
When you buy a boat from us you pay all monies in to our company clients trust account which means that the buyers and sellers money is protected. This is the same account that solicitors set up for house sales .This money does not belong to the company it belongs to the buyer until the sale is complete and then we pay the seller from the company clients trust account. We cannot release the money from the Clients Trust Account to the seller until the vessel has been accepted and handed over to the buyer because if there was a fault with the vessel and the buyer refused to accept it and wanted their money back we could not do this because the seller would of already had the money. This could become a very costly and messy problem for all parties.
This money never enters our company current account. This also means that we cannot use customers money for other purchases/reasons. If at any point the company went bust then the buyers/sellers money is safe and it would go back to the rightful owner of the money.
We have had this company clients trust account set up from day one to protect our customers money. This account is a secure holding account. We pay the seller monies due from this account when the buyer has signed to accept the vessel. Payment is made from this account to the seller by cheque from the clients Trust Account which is protected guaranteed funds.
