Description

Semington is a former commercial cargo vessel built in 1911. Between 1977 and 1987 she was moored in Gloucester Docks and well known as an arts and music venue.

Semington is a dumb barge and measures 25m x 5.4m. The hull is constructed of 3/8" riveted iron plate, the side decks are steel. The bottom is flat. Current weight around 50 tonnes.

She has recently been in dry dock and some repairs were carried out. In the future more work will be needed and we suggest that interested parties instruct an independent marine surveyor to carry out an inspection. We feel that Semington has a future either as a houseboat or maybe an updated arts and music venue.

We are commercial boat builders based in Gloucestershire and we are open between 0800 and 1630hrs, Monday to Friday and all communication, viewing and collection will have to take place within these hours. Please contact us to arrange viewing or for further information.
